======help!======

I tried my hands at ribbon embroidery when i was pregnant.i had satin ribbon and its difficult to get through the fabric.i crippled my hand for a week after this lol.For some reason i never got to finishing this.(OK the design is not completely working for me and i dont want to break my hand again for something that i wont even really like.) Can you give me some suggestions what i should with about this?Wanna do something worth my while..i spent a lot of time on this!(And poor fingers too.their pain should not be in vain right.)

It looks alright if you are looking at the details.the whole thing all of it sucks,but..when you look at it little bits a part at a time..then its ok.

peachy flower=pretty
Roses and buds=awesome

Embroidered..weed is it?

MOre flowers and leaves=alright

bullion knots combined with fly stitch

And finally the whole thing..what the what???see what i mean?
or is it just me?
Any suggestions would be well received!

Angelittle is in my lap pulling my hair.she likes to pretend that mommy is a horsey..so mommy's rein is her hair.uh poor mommy.

steering awayyyyyyyy!!!

toooodles!

  2. Wow...Anie, you've done amazing! Some things that came to mind when i saw your work...
    a) a cute bag (use as pocket od patch?)
    b) a little girls dress embellieshment
    c) cut one out, out on felt at ribbon and make a bib necklace
    d) do a giveaway to get ppl on your blog! free stuff always works, and I know I would enter.
    or
    e) a pillow (simply but timeless)

Hope this helps and btw, thanks for your sweet comment on my blog!

  3. This is my first time on your blog and I love your work!
You did a beautiful job on this piece. If you don't like the ribbon part, I suggest connecting the larger set of flowers with the red roses on the left, with some simple chain flowers and vine so that they look connected, and then use it as an front placket embellishment for a special dress for your daughter. Embroidering more small white flowers and green vines to connect the sections would be much easier and well within your ability, and it would finish it off simply!
